Who we are

Smart Home ("we", "us", "our") operates this website as a referral service connecting homeowners with independent home improvement contractors. We are not a contractor, installer, or service provider.

What information we collect

We do not collect personal information directly through this website. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal details. Any personal information you provide is entered directly on the contractor's or advertiser's website, which is governed by their own privacy policy.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use the following tracking technologies on this website:

Meta (Facebook) Pixel: We use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our advertising on Facebook and Instagram. The pixel collects data such as your browser type, pages visited, and actions taken on our site. This data is used to deliver relevant ads and measure ad performance. You can learn more about how Meta uses your data at facebook.com/privacy/policy.

Click tracking: When you click a link on our website to visit a contractor's or advertiser's page, we may pass a click identifier and general campaign information (such as the traffic source) through the URL. This helps us track which of our ads led to your visit. No personally identifiable information is included in this data.

How we use information

The limited data we collect through cookies and tracking technologies is used to measure and improve the performance of our advertising campaigns, understand how visitors interact with our website, and deliver more relevant ads to people who may be interested in home improvement services.

Third-party links

Our website contains links to third-party websites operated by independent contractors and service providers. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of these third-party sites. We encourage you to read the privacy policy of any website you visit.

Compensation disclosure

Smart Home may receive compensation when you are connected with a contractor through our website. This does not affect the quotes or pricing you receive from contractors.

Your choices

You can opt out of interest-based advertising from Meta by adjusting your ad preferences at facebook.com/adpreferences. You can also manage cookies through your browser settings.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
